Neem oil comes from an evergreen tree which grows in the areas of South Asia and India, but is now being grown in many other parts of the world. Neem oil pesticide is made by using the oil from the Neem tree and other ingredients, and is used by those who have organic gardens or grow produce of this sort commercially.

When used as a bio pesticide it has the ability to repel many pests that can attack organic crops. It is safe to use around mammals, birds and other beneficial insects, and does not affect earthworms. It can also be used in and around the house to repel many things like ants, cockroaches and many other problems.

For fungus outbreaks on garden vegetables and many other plants, it is very suitable for the control of things like powdery mildew and rust. It is also useful for other problems such as anthracnose and black spot. Powdery mildew can be a nuisance when growing cucumbers, pumpkins, rockmelons and many other vine crops. Black spot can be a real problem on roses and many vegetable plants during warm humid weather.

It also works to control snails which can be a real nuisance in some gardens and anywhere there is mosquitoes. If there is evidence of termites, or white ants which they are also known as, it can be helpful in deterring these pests. For those who have cats or dogs, Neem oil is suitable for use in the control of the flea on the animal and in kennels or bedding.
